Welcome To My Blog!
I’m passionate about all things Enterprise Mobility and Cybersecurity.
My journey in enterprise mobility began in the early days of BlackBerry, back when BlackBerry devices were the gold standard for secure corporate mobility. I started out supporting customers using the BlackBerry Enterprise Solution (BES)—a platform that enabled businesses to securely manage and deploy BlackBerry devices. At the time, BES was a game-changer, providing IT administrators with centralized control over corporate email, security policies, and remote device management. It was one of the first true Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) solutions, long before the industry evolved into what we now call Unified Endpoint Management (UEM).
Working with BES gave me a strong foundation in mobility management, security policies, and infrastructure integration. I helped organizations set up and maintain BlackBerry Enterprise Servers, troubleshoot device connectivity and synchronization issues, and implement security measures such as remote wipes and encryption policies. These early experiences shaped my understanding of how critical mobility management is to business operations and security.
As mobile technology evolved, I transitioned into supporting Android and iOS devices, working with a variety of EMM/UEM solutions, ultimately specializing in Workspace ONE UEM. I’ve been working with the platform since its early days as AirWatch in 2013, gaining over a decade of hands-on experience in support, device management strategy, system integration, and automation with clients and employers, big and small.
While the Workspace ONE UEM interface is intuitive, mastering its advanced features—such as system integrations and API-driven automation—requires deep expertise. This has been my focus for many years, helping businesses unlock the full potential of their mobility management platforms and devices. I have a particular fondness for Android devices and extensive experience with Zebra devices, which are widely used in the retail and logistics sectors.
To complement my practical experience, I’ve pursued various certifications and formal education in cybersecurity and mobility management:

About This Blog
This blog focuses on the Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) aspect of Unified Endpoint Management (UEM). EMMpowered is where I share insights, best practices, and expert tips to help you navigate the complexities of enterprise mobility management. Whether you’re an IT admin, a mobility engineer, or simply looking to optimize your fleet of managed devices, this blog is here to EMMpower you.
Exciting times are ahead for Workspace ONE following VMware’s EUC division spin-out into Omnissa, then subsequent acquisition by KKR. As a standalone company, Omnissa is now more agile, with a renewed focus on customer needs. This shift promises faster innovation and improvements, shaping the future of enterprise mobility.
In my downtime, I’m passionate about traveling. I also spend a lot of time tinkering with my Homelab, running Unraid, where I get hands-on with new and interesting open source software, and push the boundaries of my setup.
Staying up to date with the latest trends in tech is something I’m excited about, particularly when it involves Android and Mobility. I love deep diving into emerging technologies, and constantly learning, so I can stay on top of the ever-evolving tech landscape.
